Greenbank’s Kate Elliot, head of ESI research, and Katherine Farr, assistant ESI researcher, were joined by two external speakers, Daniel Leufer, senior policy analyst, Access Now, and Zak Rogoff, research manager, Ranking Digital Rights.
The speakers explored the impact of AI on human rights, the regulatory environment, and highlighted some of the tools available for evaluating companies involved in AI development and deployment. Emphasising the need for transparency, accountability, and good governance, the webinar underscored the importance of anchoring conversations around emerging technologies firmly within the context of human rights.
